Treatment - Freelance, No Chance (2min opening draft)

It's 2010. In an ally/lane, four friends once enemies under the (super)hero aliases of Nerdman, Protector, Geek Boy and Shock King (aka The Nanoclusters), are battling against the (super)villains Chavman, Iced G, Hood-y and Crack Kid (aka The S.I.T.H [Stars In The Hood]). To rescue Geek Boy's love interest Anna, who was captured by Hood-y beforehand, the S.I.T.H gain the upper hand and it looks like the Nanoclusters will be defeated, as each hero is one by on knocked to the ground, Chavman stands over Nerdman and declares the S.I.T.H have won, and asks the clichéd "Any last words?".

Two weeks earlier.

Sam and Matt, two sixth formers, are walking into school, while Josh and Adam, two other sixth formers, are walking into school via the second entrance, both discussing similar things. Both groups meet in the centre, and exchange awkward hellos, before walking on. The two groups then explore through short discussions why they dislikes each other, Josh dislikes Matt for putting a former crush of his Katie of men for life, Matt dislikes Adam for accidently breaking his Darth Vader key ring, Adam dislikes Sam because he said that Star Trek character Spok is 'just an elf with downs syndrome', and Sam dislikes Josh after he spread a rumor about him being homosexual.

Feedback: After we had presented our treatment/idea to the class, we received positive feedback for the genre we wanted to emulate, as it is a niche genre, with few films having emulated it. However, we received negative feedback on the hero aliases of Nerdman and Geek Boy, so we have decided to change them to Captain Awesome and Mega Boy, also our idea of jumping strait into the action was received negatively, as the audience wouldn't quite know what was going on, and they also wouldn't have connected with the heros as they're has been little character development. So we still kept the idea of showing us in our hero form, but simply with us introducing our characters, with casual conversation between us. Before making the transition to a flashback.
