We decided to change the location of our media production to behind the school, as typically in teen comedies or even action films bad things usually happen behind places (alleyways, shops etc.). Furthermore, the division caused by the fence semiotically emphasizes how out of place our characters are. However, the mise-en-scene doesn't quite fit in with our genre elements, but it does provide us with useful locations. For instance, the trees in shot 3 could provide us with an area for 'shady' activity.
Ideally an urban area would be more suited to our production piece but by subverting the typical genre element could be a way of providing the audience with a fresh perspective.
